The Midtown Transfer Station, (a.k.a Midtown Dump, Webster Dump, Siren Dump, Webster Transfer Station, Siren Transfer Station), previously operated by Republic Services, is no longer open.  Other residential garbage drop-off locations in Burnett County include the Oakland Transfer Station  (for Oakland, Swiss and Union Township residents) and the Webb Lake Transfer Station (for residents of Webb Lake Township). Both of those locations take residential recycling from anyone for no charge.
